The Success Advisory and Management Agency or S.A.M Agency was founded in the year 2017 by the Unit Trust Consultants, husband and wife team, Mr. Sam Sanjeevi, and Ms. Angel Ooi Shin Ming to help Malaysians to invest, grow wealth, and achieve their financial goals.

Meet our team
Sam Sanjeevi
Agency Manager
Realizing the importance of financial freedom, Sam started his entrepreneurship journey in the financial services industry even though he graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree back in 2006.
Although the beginning was tough, Sam persisted and later joined and qualified as a Public Mutual Unit Trust Consultant in July 2011 and completed the professional financial planning course from the Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) during the same year. Ever since then, he has been a Registered Financial Planner (RFP) designation holder.
Over the years, Sam has been Public Mutual Bhd’s Top 10 % Achievers and awarded as a Million Ringgit Producer, National Sales Convention & Overseas Trip Qualifier. Sam has also been receiving recognition and awards from the company as a Top Agency Builder in Penang.
Being a Malaysian who lived on Penang Island, Sam can speak fluently in English, Mandarin, Malay, Cantonese, and Hokkien.

Angel Ooi Shin Ming
Agency Supervisor
Before joining Public Mutual Bhd as a licensed Unit Trust Consultant, Angel was a private tuition teacher and home tutor. She is passionate in guiding her students however the academic results & demands created huge stress for her mentally and physically.
That’s when Angel’s husband, Sam shared with her the business potential and flexible working nature of a Public Mutual Unit Trust Consultant that convinced her to join the profession in May 2016. After that, Angel took up the license as a Private Retirement Consultant (in Oct 2017) and was promoted to the rank of Agency Supervisor in 2018.
Being a committed & dedicated person, Angel has been Public Mutual Bhd’s Top 10 % Achievers and awarded as a Million Ringgit Producer, National Sales Convention & Overseas Trip Qualifier since 2017. In 2018, Angel received the award as Penang’s Top New Unit Trust Consultant.
Now Angel have a work-life balance lifestyle that enables her to contribute to the financial wellness of her clients while enjoying her time doing the activities she enjoys all together.

Jervind Gan
Agency Supervisor
In the beginning, Jervind joined as a Public Mutual Unit Trust Consultant in 2017 with the simple goal of earning an “Additional RM 1,000 monthly” to supplement his financial need besides his main income from being a corporate trainer at that time.
Sharing the same belief as Sam & Angel, Jervind worked hard to build his client base and he is passionate about helping Malaysians achieve financial freedom. With this conviction, he has been recognized as the Top 10% Achievers in the company’s National Sales Convention & Overseas Trip Qualifier.
Jervind is a Registered Financial Planner (RFP) designation holder and was later promoted to the rank of Agency Supervisor in 2018.

Sky Cheah Tian Foo
Agency Supervisor
Sky joined Public Mutual Bhd as a licensed Unit Trust Consultant in Aug 2016 and was later promoted to the rank of Agency Supervisor in 2018.
Currently managing more than 100 unique clients, Sky takes pride in his professionalism in financial planning, investment management, and after-sales services. His motto is “to do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” With a firm belief that everyone should plan for their retirement, Sky is skilled in helping his clients with retirement planning and helping them to optimize their retirement funds via the EPF Members Investment Scheme (EPF-MIS).

- Able and willing to be coached and mentored. At the same time committed to learning by attending our online & physical training & workshops.
- Able and willing to search & have face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to help them with investment services. This includes providing ongoing long-term client advisory & servicing.
